The Story

Mary is here - The Story

Since my youth, I had the certainty that, if something is worth doing, during our path of life on this planet, it’s to get to know it.

My life’s path, at least in the beginning, did not lead me to a professional involvement with traveling.

My professional career led me to serve as a project director of big IT projects for well-established companies.

Being involved in numerous and various projects, I discovered, developed, and perfected skills such as, communication, understanding, analysis, effectiveness, organization, punctuality, methodology and love for innovation and creativity.

As years went by, I realized my inherent tendency was to help people on what they needed.

In my early travels, I got to know step-by-step my homeland, one of the most beautiful countries in the world, in which I was blessed to be born, Greece.

The more I travelled, the more certainty I was developing, and really knowing our destination. Being just a tourist was not enough.

In order to really know a travel destination, we have to be “curious” travelers or manage to get to live as locals do.

Later on, I got to discover this way (as a curious traveler) Italy. The land put a spell on me from the first moment I arrived there.

This feeling drove me to travel this country even more. I learnt its language, its culture, its people, its cuisine, its cities and villages, and its art and history.

These unbelievable experiences, inspired me to create “Mary is Here”. With this, I would be able to share my knowledge of Greece, and Italy with other travelers, and help them to understand the land of the locals, and also in the way that they desire.

So if you decide to travel either in Greece or Italy, I will be the path to your destination, your “right hand”, by your side from the moment that your trip will be planned specifically to cover your needs, until you get there, make it real and create your own memories, however, and with whomever you desire, and dream.
